Last year, NCG had good representation from our membership at the 2017 Environmental Leadership Summit. Now, ticketing is open for the 2018 Summit. Please see the announcement below from the Environmental Center of San Diego (ECO San Diego) which coordinates the Summit. This is a great opportunity to learn about the key issues facing our local environment. Don’t miss it!
Information from ECO San Diego
We are pleased to announce availability of tickets for the Second Annual San Diego Environmental Leadership Summit. By all accounts, the First Annual San Diego Environmental Leadership Summit in 2017 was a great success. The Second Annual Summit is shaping up to be even better. It will feature a full day of discussion focused on the interrelated issues of Climate Action, Land Use, Wildlife and Habitat Conservation, Transportation, and Housing. This year, we have invited a few elected officials to join us in the afternoon for an exchange of ideas.
Confirmed participants include Serge Dedina, Georgette Gomez, David Alvarez, Kevin Faulconer, and Terry Sinnot.
The Summit will be held in the Captain’s Room at the Marina Village Conference Center, 1925 Quivira Way, in Mission Bay on Saturday, September 29, 2018. Check in starts at 8:30, and the program will start at 9. The formal program will wrap up by 4 PM, and will be followed by a reception from 4 to 6 PM.
The fee is an incredibly low $25.00 per person and includes a vegan lunch from Sher E Punjab (http://sprestaurant.com/) and a ticket to the reception.
Last years event sold out, so don’t delay. Tickets are available online at https://actionnetwork.org/ticketed_events/eco-summit-2018
