SUMMARY:Chapter Outing Leader Training - April 9-10
DESCRIPTION:Attention WBC Students & Alumni!  Are you looking for a way to stay involved past the WBC class?   \nHere’s your opportunity to become a Chapter Outing Leader (COL) and begin leading trips for the Sierra Club and next year’s WBC.  Send Cheryl Knapp (cvknapp1950@gmail.com) your e-mail and she will send you the assignment for the two day backpack training weekend. The training this year will be held April 9-10. \nTo become a WBC North County Chapter Outing Leader you must: \n\nBe a Sierra Club member\nAt least 18 years of age\nA Wilderness Basics Course (WBC) graduate\nTurn in assignment prior to the training weekend\n\nAfter the training: \n\nPlan\, publish and execute 2 evaluation outings\nObtain a Red Cross Standard First Aid card or equivalent prior to evaluation outings\n\nClass size is limited to 10.  Priority for this training will be given to North County participants. \nIf you have questions\, please contact Cheryl at 760.310.8819 or cvknapp1950@gmail.com.
