Sierra Club NCG filed a final letter on the ECAP adoption in advance of the March 10th hearing.
NCG members have participated in the Escondido Community Advisory Group on Environmental and Climate Action.
The final VOTE about the Escondido Climate Action Plan Update will be held on March 10 at 6 PM at the City Council meeting.
This is such an important action. It will guide city planning and actions for the next 14 years. We must take strong climate action if we are to arrest the worst impacts of the climate crisis.
We need everyone to contact the Mayor and City Council and support the strongest climate plan possible.

Sierra Club NCG members have been very active in the Escondido Community Advisory Group for Environmental and Climate Action (ECAG). The ECAG has delivered its final recommendations to the Escondido City Council on the Update of the Escondido Climate Action Plan (ECAP). Please review this letter and the one above and offer your own thoughts to the Escondido City Council in advance of its March 10, 2021 workshop on the Final ECAP update.
