The North County Group Executive Committee (ExCom) is looking for members interested in joining the leadership team in the following appointed positions:
ExCom Secretary (non-voting)
The ExCom Secretary shall record the minutes of all ExCom meetings and organize all pertinent Group documents on Google Drive. This is a non-voting position.
Conservation Committee Chair
The Conservation Chair shall provide a point of contact between the public and other club leaders and assist the ExCom in conservation planning, budget decisions, training, and implementation of the conservation program.
Political Committee Chair
The Political Chair shall oversee the Group’s program that includes evaluating political issues and positions, planning and conducting the endorsement and support of candidates for public office, and developing and leading the efforts necessary for those processes.
Leadership Training Coordinator
The Leadership Training Coordinator (LTC) shall be responsible for qualifying Chapter Outing Leaders (COLs) for the Sierra Club. To this end, the LTC shall coordinate the training and mentoring of new COLs.
Marketing Coordinator (new!)
The Marketing Coordinator shall create a monthly email newsletter for the NCG and write a quarterly submission for the NCG in the HiSierran.
Membership Coordinator (new!)
The Membership Coordinator keeps the roster of current members, and is responsible for recruiting and welcoming members and encouraging them to participate in Club and Group activities.
Social Coordinator
The Social Coordinator shall coordinate planning, advertising, and conduct of social activities for NCG members. Members may be enlisted to assist as needed.
Technology Coordinator
The Technology Coordinator shall maintain and update the NCG website (WordPress) and provide A/V support for group membership meetings.
