Here is an easy and important way to learn about the Multiple Species Conservation Program (MSCP) in San Diego County. There will be a virtual public meeting on the MSCP on Friday, December 9, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. The adoption of a North County MSCP is a core goal of Sierra Club and our allies.
The MSCP was developed to preserve a network of habitat and open space, protecting biodiversity and enhancing the region’s quality of life. This workshop will focus on local, state, and federal partners’ 2021 MSCP accomplishments, including habitat acquisitions, management, and monitoring. The workshop provides an opportunity for the public and interested parties to learn more about unique habitats in the San Diego region, the role of the MSCP in preserving open space, and regional conservation and management efforts.
